Stair noses are a type of molding used at the edges of individual stairs or landings to created a nice rounded effect at the end of each floor landing.
When installing flooring, you will note that shading varies between individual boards, despite them having the same finish. When matching moldings to your flooring during installation, look for a shade of floor board that most closely matches the molding you are working with for the smoothest transition.
Please Note: Our RUSTIC style moldings (Rustic White Bleach and Rustic Smoke Stain) DO NOT have the rough textured saw marked surface finish that our rustic floorings have. Instead they have a smooth finish. This is due to manufacturing limitations when producing wood moldings with rounded edges.
